Steps

  1. Open the invoice

Find the invoice your client paid and tap Record payment.

  2. Check the amount

The amount starts at what is still due. If the client paid part of the invoice, lower it to what you received.

  3. Say how you were paid

Choose Cash, Card, Bank transfer, Cheque, Mobile money or Other, check the date, and add a reference such as a transfer ID if you like.

  4. Save

Payverly creates a receipt with the next receipt number and links it to the invoice.

What happens next

  • A partly paid invoice shows how much is still due, and its button becomes Record the remaining payment.
  • When receipts cover the total, the invoice is marked paid. An invoice past its due date with money still owed shows as overdue.
  • You can't record more than is owed on an invoice.
  • Each receipt has its own PDF — Print or Share it from Receipts.
